New Mexico Believers Pray for Family and Friends to Be Saved

Ahead of Franklin Graham’s God Loves You Tour, the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) has been hosting Nights of Worship and Prayer in each city where the tour will stop in September and October. Plan to join us on the tour stop closest to you this fall.
So far, more than 1,500 believers across the United States have gathered to praise God and pray for their cities, all of which sit along Route 66. Here, people in Albuquerque, New Mexico, worship together.
For the past several months, church leaders have been gathering and praying for God to move in big ways—and to reach people amid the pandemic. Do you know the love of God? Know Him today.
On August 11, believers from churches across Albuquerque, New Mexico, worshipped alongside Freddy Washington Jr.—a Grammy and Dove Award-nominated artist.
Steve Rhoads, a vice president of BGEA, has encouraged Christians at every Night of Worship and Prayer to believe in the power of prayer. Rhoads suggested those carrying heavy burdens or feeling weary should lift up their requests to God. Many knocked on heaven's door, asking God to save their loved ones who don't know Jesus.
People who come to a Night of Prayer and Worship can get memorabilia for the God Loves You Tour—including signs to put in their yards for others to hear about the Gospel event.
Skip Heitzig, a friend of Franklin Graham who pastors Calvary of Albuquerque, welcomed guests and led a prayer for his city. He later shared on Instagram: "It was such an honor to have The God Loves You Tour [Night of Prayer and Worship] by Franklin Graham come through our city this evening!”
From Illinois to California, the tour spans much of the nation. Many have been waiting and anticipating in-person events like these.
Please pray for God to continue moving in people's hearts ahead of the tour and for many people to draw near to Him.
Next up is the 8-city God Loves You Tour with Franklin Graham, September 19-October 2.
